Learning new guitar chords?

i want to learn new guitar chords. i know open chords(A,D,G,etc), open minor chords(Am,Dm,Bm), open 7th chords( D7, A7, C7,etc), barre chords( A , D, etc). i want to learn more/new chords that are positioned at lower areas of the fretboard. i want to learn suspended,dissonance, and more chords. should i buy a chord chart?
